NEW YORK (Agencies) - Author Chuck Pfarrer, a former US Navy SEALs commander, says Osama bin Laden died within 90 seconds after SEAL Team Six began a raid on his Pakistan hideout. Pfarrer's account, which he says came from several men involved in the May attack on the al-Qaeda leader's compound, contradicts the official government account that says bin Laden was killed in a 45-minute firefight, The Daily Telegraph (Britain) reported Friday. 'Bin Laden was dead within 90 seconds of the beginning of the raid, not after an extended firefight,' Pfrarrer said in a statement. 'Four suppressed rounds were fired.' His new book 'SEAL Target Geronimo: The Inside Story on the Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden' will be released Nov. 8.
