LAHORE: Former captain Shahid Afridi termed the meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf positive adding that they discussed various issues pertaining to the game, Geo News reported.
The cricket star was talking to media after the meeting and backed the idea of Ashraf for having three different coaches. "The chairman's idea of having separate coaches for each department is good and it doesn't matter that the coach is foreign or national."
Afridi added: "I am ready to play cricket either as a player or captain". Afridi said he had informed the chairman about his availability for the team.
Shahid expressed sadness over the spot fixing scandal. This incident has badly affected national prestige, he said
